Took my girlfriend there (Rockefeller Plaza skating rink) on New Year's Eve 1980 to watch the skaters. Some dirtbag New Yorker sidled up behind her and rubbed himself against her, and I was too innocent and oblivious to understand what had happened until she moved to stand in front of me. Fuck NYC.
