I thought this was nonsense but I still posted about it...

  I mentioned this last week.
Here's what I said then:

"I woulda just thought the kid was giving me
the finger or something. Juss' sayin'..."

Turns out that whole story was bullshit, and the cops passed along that same bullshit hand signal thing

A Kentucky driver who has been credited with helping rescue a kidnapped 16-year-old girl from the car of a suspected pedophile has revealed that he did not recognize her distress hand signal that she saw on TikTok, contrary to a sheriff's claim.
David Isaacs, 50, said he called 911 after seeing the abducted girl, who he said appeared distraught, repeatedly mouthing the words 'help me' as she was being transported by James Brick in his Toyota Corolla on Interstate 75 last week.
'I didn’t recognize a gesture,' Isaacs, of Berea, Kentucky
'She said "help me, help me" twice,' Isaacs said. 'I think she even lip-synced "call 911."'... It looked like she had been crying.
