It doesn't. In any way. Ever. A bus crash in Bulgaria means nothing to mean. I don't even know where Bulgaria is...
My point is, why do newspaper and other news editors think a traffic accident halfway around the world is something I need to know about? This is an important question to ask, because there are people that actually take stupid shit like that to heart, and they shouldn't.

Friends up in the Northeast so excited for the fact that they had their first snowfall yesterday. Good for them. If I ever see another snowflake live and in person again, just shoot me on the spot, okay? Juss' sayin'...

Really like this - not so much about subject matter (especially the snow) as it is brilliant for it's
composition and lighting. My colorization, of course,
so I guess another Republican just died. My bad.

Speaking about sexy, I gotta admit...
if I ever had to even just talk to her, but I gotta admit - I think this
Taylor Swift babe just keeps getting hotter and hotter as she ages.

He's a very smart, very articulate guy who has spoken in the past of possibly going in to politics as a true public service, and he's almost indefinable as a left vs- rightie guy. I don't know which side of the aisle he fit best on, but I do know this: The people polled are saying they'd vote for the guy purely because of his 'cult of personality' appeal. I'd bet few, if any, of them know shit from Shinola about his politics and policies, and that is about as fucked up as it can get. It's sad. how some people make very important decisions.
These people are genuinely dangerous not only because of what they believe, but because people will continue to vote for them.
Two members of the Democratic Party 'squad' are touting their views in favor of abolishing federal prisons and quashing 'excessive bail' just a day after a convicted felon who was out on bail mowed down scores of people with his SUV in suburban Milwaukee, killing five. House Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (bottom) provoked rage on social media on Monday for demanding answers on 'excessive bail' that is imposed by prosecutors in New York City on Monday. Meanwhile, fellow 'squad' member House Rep. Rashida Tlaib (top), the Democrat from Michigan, had trouble explaining her support for a law that would empty federal prisons within a period of 10 years.

Remember that plane crash in Japan that killed something like 450 people? I flew on that same flight a couple years before the crash. Some of us have friends and family that don't live here. Some of us travel - or at least we did before the lockdowns and quarantines. Conversely, nobody I know was at the Jan 6th fiasco at the Capitol.
ReplyDeleteThe jan. 6th shit was newsworthy. The other stuff is just grandstanding voyeurism...
DeleteDammit! I just Hate it when I see both sides...

ReplyDelete“ The basement, Andrea said, held as many as 16 children and teenagers of different ethnicities. She remembers that it was underneath a house in an upper-middle-class neighborhood on the West Coast. Throughout much of her captivity, this basement was where she was kept when she wasn't working. ''There was lots of scrawling on the walls,'' she said. ''The other kids drew stick figures, daisies, teddy bears. This Mexican boy would draw a house with sunshine. We each had a mat.''
Andrea paused. ''But nothing happens to you in the basement,'' she continued. ''You just had to worry about when the door opened.''
She explained: ''They would call you out of the basement, and you'd get a bath and you'd get a dress, and if your dress was yellow you were probably going to Disneyland.'' She said they used color coding to make transactions safer for the traffickers and the clients. ''At Disneyland there would be people doing drop-offs and pickups for kids. It's a big open area full of kids, and nobody pays attention to nobody. They would kind of quietly say, 'Go over to that person,' and you would just slip your hand into theirs and say, 'I was looking for you, Daddy.' Then that person would move off with one or two or three of us.''

Not newsworthy because of who and what she knows...
DeleteTHE "CLAPPING GIRL" in orange is the one I would rather have.
ReplyDeleteyup
DeleteI think you should have used a more subdued green in your colorization. And as far as I'm concerned, you can keep posting her as often as you'd like.
