It's purported to be 4,600,000,000 years old, and is said to have likely existed before the Earth itself had completely formed, but I cannot for the life of me figure out how anybody can makes such a bullshit statement. How the fuck could they possibly know that for a fact? For one thing, it's other-worldy so there's no hard basis for the aging, and also, if it pre-dates our planet, there is zero perspective.
That's the problem I have with some science. It's not 'science' at all - it's actually only conjecture.
