We need a congressional hearing on this!

Maybe then we'll find out why in god's name Grand Funk Railroad isn't in the
Rock & Roll Hall of Fame...

They should be in even if this album was the only
thing they ever did. It's ridiculous that
ABBA is in and they aren't.

They were one of the best live bands you'd
ever wanna see. Here's a taste:

Grand Funk Railroad - I'm Your Captain - Live at Shea Stadium in the summer of 1971. I had just graduated High School. I was there.
Check out how the audience is rocking the seat tiers...

Grand Funk Railroad, usually just shortened as Grand Funk, is an "American band" popular during the 1970s, who toured extensively and played to packed arenas worldwide. They're still touring in one form or another to this day, although their stadium-packing days are well behind them.
Known for their crowd-pleasing arena rock style, the band was well-regarded by audiences despite a relative lack of critical acclaim.
The band's name is a play on words of the Grand Trunk Western Railroad, a line that runs through the band's home town of Flint, Michigan.
