Cornell University is defending a new rock-climbing class offered to minority groups. Among the Ivy League school’s Outdoor Education offerings for the spring 2021 semester was a course called “BIPOC Rock Climbing”. The course description, according to The Cornell Daily Sun, specified that the class was “for people who identify as Black, Indigenous, Latinx, Asian, or other people of color.”

Down in Louisville ya got a diner pulling handgun on ARMED BLM protesters after they surrounded an upscale restaurant during a Kentucky Derby demonstration for Breonna Taylor. The unidentified man is thought to have been eating at the classy La Chasse restaurant on Saturday night when he confronted the group of around 50 people. They had been marching ahead of the 147th Kentucky Derby. Footage shows as the diner points his handgun at protesters who shout at him. A female demonstrator urges the protesters to continue moving down the block. A police spokesperson confirmed that the protesters were also armed.

DeleteThat P-47 pic hurts my inner engineer. I’ve been an aircraft mechanic for over 40 years...that access panel should open the other way. If it popped open in flight that’s one big ass speed brake on one side. Can you say uncontrollable roll rate? And the moment of all that ammo weight has to be massive. The stresses on the inboard structure during high loading turns would be insane. Great airplane tho! and they built it with slide rules.....
