You don't have to pay for anything, but your grandchildren certainly will.

The money mill is still churning with this new administration. Evidently, no one there had Economics 101 in High School...

Happy Birthday, Jim Jordan. One really good voice of reason in Congress. Oh - and Happy Birthday to MJ too.

I read somewhere yesterday that Texas is almost 50% reliant on Solar and wind power sources.
If so, they're fucked and it casts a doubt on the viability of those resources going forward.

The record-breaking cold weather claimed more lives Tuesday , including four relatives who perished while using a fireplace to stay warm and a woman and a girl who died from suspected carbon monoxide poisoning.
In Harris County, Texas officials reported more than 300 carbon monoxide poisoning cases. In Galveston, the medical examiner's office requested a refrigerated truck to expand body storage. The power breakdown sparked growing outrage and demands for answers over how Texas failed such a massive test of a major point of state pride: energy independence.
Gov. Gregg Abbot has demanded investigation into grid manager, the Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT).The state is the only one in continental U.S. that has its own power grid; more bad weather is expected.

Robert Hallick, of Chattanooga, was arrested last Thursday for the illegal Jan. 21 application.

Hallick is accused of using the name “President Barack H. Obama” after his original November request for a gun permit using his real identity was denied over an active arrest warrant in Michigan, according to an affidavit obtained by the outlet. He also sent a $50 check and a letter with the official United States of America seal in the second application.

One of my favorite actors - Lee Marvin in the duel role
masterpiece film 'Cat Ballou'. It was certainly the best
work he ever did, even better than 'The Dirty Dozen'.

Texas gas pipes and wind turbines froze because operators made virtually NO preparations for cold weather and the state's only electricity firm was crushed by surging demand.

If your or someone you know has Gout,
you have to read this...

Black Cherry Concentrate does one thing - and one thing only.
It breaks down Uric Acid in your system
It does nothing else. It doesn't interfere with anything, it has no side effects or contra-indications with other drugs or supplements that I know of. It does just one thing. It knocks down the severity and frequency of gout flareups. I haven't had one in probably five or so years taking just two of these a day. It's a god-send. Believe me.

A former Florida lawyer who made headlines when his pants caught on fire during an arson trial in 2017 was recently charged with cocaine possession. Stephen Gutierrez, 32, was arrested on Monday night after being pulled over for driving with a broken headlight. During the traffic stop, a Miami-Dade police officer noticed a bulge in Gutierrez’s pocket, which he thought was a knife.

It turned out to be a cylinder container with a bag of white powder inside, according to an arrest report. As the cop inspected the substance, Gutierrez blurted out, “That’s cocaine.”  Gutierrez’s arrest came after his license to practice law was revoked in October, Florida Bar records show.

  1. I remember the nightclub incident well. Black owned and operated, a ton of code violations never enforced and the place didn't have a valid license in place. Ton of indictments came down and only one went to jail for a couple of years for negligent homicide. Hey it's the Chicago way after all. Monday nights storm nailed the entire Chicagoland and NW Indy area. We've had 10 days of snow in a row and currently over 30 inches accumulated on the ground. So I am asking again for a spot out there on your lanai for a month. C'mon,be a pal already
