Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton is asking the Supreme Court to instruct legislatures in four states President-elect Joe Biden won to throw out what he calls "tainted" results and select their own slate of presidential electors. The Republican-controlled legislatures in Georgia, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin would then be free to choose electors who could vote for Trump when the Electoral College meets on December 13.
At least 17 states that voted for Trump have signed a brief supporting the Texas lawsuit, which claims that the four states in question didn't follow election laws correctly in administering the 2020 election. Trump has also filed a motion to intervene in the case.
The U.S. Constitution permits states to decide their own laws on running elections and a variety of legal experts have harshly criticized the Texas lawsuit, with some arguing the Supreme Court won't even hear the case because the state doesn't have standing to sue its sister states in this way.

I went to the VA Clinic here yesterday for my annual check-up. These guys are serious - getting in was like trying to enter the White House, but once you are in, they could not be nicer. What a great job Trump's done in turning the VA around in the last coupla years, but he won't get credit for it from the jerkoff media, that's for sure.

Police said Wednesday occupiers around the Red House in Mississippi have been stockpiling weapons and making 'threats' to community members, the media and police in the zone. Anyone who can is being told to avoid the area while Portland Police Chief Chuck Lovell issued a plea to demonstrators Wednesday to 'put down your weapons' and warned officers will use force if necessary.
The same day, people were seen setting up more barricades including spike strips made of boards and nails and armed guards were stationed in the area. The Kinney family have owned the Red House since the 1950s but took out a new mortgage to pay defense lawyers for their son, William III.
The house went into foreclosure and was sold to a developer at a 2018 auction and the family say they were evicted at gunpoint three months ago. A group of activists have camped at the home ever since to express their outrage against gentrification and the eviction of the black and Indigenous family.
The outrage came to a head Tuesday when the property owner complained people were trespassing and officers showed up and made several arrests.
