Every day is a slow news day if you don't pay attention.

I've gotten to the point where I just don't want or need any more sensory input. And I sure as fuck don't watch the news on TV...

Don't you feel the same way sometimes?

...

...

...

This is good until tomorrow night. Save the pic to your phone and you will be able to present it at the register at the store. It works - I've done this a bunch of times before.
...

The Prez was here yesterday. It's always an impressive show when he comes to town. A shitload of aircraft and a million support and security vehicles.

Trump’s campaign rally at The Villages Polo Club (and before ya ask, yes - there is a real Polo Club here. They have matches every other week or so) Friday drew more than 10,000 supporters. His remarks included a pledge to protecting Medicare and Social Security, a commitment to a renewed economy, making communities safe and keeping taxes low. He called his visit to The Villages an opportunity to “thank the people who supported me from the beginning.”

One thing ya gotta love about Florida...

Where else ya gonna find Halloween Flamingos?
...

...

They do this all over Europe - street vendors and sidewalk stalls - like this street vegetable market on the Via Pescherie Vecchie in Bologna, Italy. There are a number of reasons why we can't do it here in America, not the least of which is too many fuckin' regulations on every-friggin-thing.
...

The two drugmakers announced Friday the resumption of U.S. testing of their COVID-19 vaccine candidates. Testing of AstraZeneca’s vaccine candidate had been halted since early September, while Johnson & Johnson’s vaccine study was paused at the beginning of last week. Each company had a study volunteer develop a serious health issue, requiring a review of 'safety data'.

The two coronavirus vaccines are among a bunch of candidates in 'final-stage' testing, the last step before seeking regulatory approval. The companies said they got the go-ahead Friday from the Food and Drug Administration to restart tests in the U.S. Please hurry up with this shit. I am sick and fuckin' tired of EVERYTHING COVID. Make this shit go away already.

California. Need I say more?

Start a business there and the government will tell you who you can hire, what you have to pay them, how many cross-dressers you'll have to hire and what you'll have to feed their kids for breakfast on Sunday mornings.

There will come a point where they will finally just all spontaneously combust and they will all just burn forever in the hell they've created for themselves. Or at least one can dream, can't one...

Reports and studies. Who the fuck orders 'em, who pays for 'em, and most importantly, who are the people doing these 'studies'?
I want THAT job. I'm thinkin' these guys are bangin' down BIG fuckin' money.

Asking for a friend, really.
...

You may read this differently than I did. I saw it as the government now doing the trick-or-treating for the kids so the kids don't have to themselves. Eventually, I guess, people in the inner-cities will have everything done and paid for for them. I really hate what's happening to my once-beloved home town.

Need a good small range bag

This is from the Sears Catalog from 1959.

I was six years old then and I'll tell ya - that western shit was big time with us kids back then - that and any wartime/soldier stuff. We were all about that shit.
Anyway, the reason I have magazines in my bathrooms to this day? As long as I can remember, there were always three things to read on the top of the hamper that nobody ever used in our bathroom growing up. One was Reader's Digest, one was the Catholic Digest (yup - the church version of the other one) and the Sears Catalog.
My mom would change out the two little ones when the new ones came in every month, but the Sears catalogue? That motherfucker stayed there the entire year. And you could get your ass kicked if you took it out of the bathroom and didn't bring it back. We had a fucked-up family with a buncha really screwy priorities, but we did have fun.

Because we're idiots, that's why...

See this jerkoff? I'd like to meet him in a bar - any bar - after I've had about three beers. I would just beat the ever-lovin' fuckin' shit outta this jerkoff. And for that matter? Anybody else who thinks this scumbag is funny.

Some of the palm trees at Maho Bay on St. John.
God - do I miss that place some times...

There really are some genuinely sick motherfuckers out there. Think that shit would happen in a concealed-carry state like Florida and Texas? I kinda doubt it. Fuckin' scumbags. Juss' sayin'...

These are simply great tool bags.

Yesterday here in The Villages the guy was energetic, he was exciting (or so I'm told) and full of piss and vinegar.

I wonder where Joe was - taking a nap maybe?

Trump made his pitch to his home state of Florida in a setting of double rallies on Friday as he ramped up his attacks on Joe Biden, saying his Democratic rival is 'a corrupt politician who is fully compromised'. The President told a tightly packed crowd in The Villages that China is trying to help Biden win. 'Joe Biden is a corrupt politician, and he's compromised fully compromised,' he said. 'China is desperate for Biden to win. Because if Biden wins, China wins, and if China wins, China will own America, they will own.'
He claimed Hunter Biden's business dealings with China and the Ukraine netted the Bidens millions even though Joe Biden has released over 20 years of tax returns and there is no sign of that money. Trump said Joe Biden 'sold out American workers in every turn, shattering the lives of millions of American families', while the Democrat's family raked in money. He said he ran for president because of that kind of corruption. 'I couldn't sit by and watch these horrible trade deals that are ripping off America all the time. I couldn't sit back and watch China, year after year after year, hundreds of billions of dollars they made,' he said.
Trump painted a picture of economic recovery and downplayed the spread of the coronavirus as he claimed his rival would lock up the country and cause an economic depression.

Ever notice this one thing about this guy? Whenever he talks, he talks about good shit - about making stuff and lives better...

Whenever ya hear any of the Dems talk, their gloom-and-doom shit'll make ya crazy. It seems like all they do is bitch and moan about shit all the time. Juss' sayin'...
...

I'll leave you with this:

It's not a fetish. I just really
like the composition. Really.

How many times has this jerkoff flip-flopped on a whole buncha things? He's become irrelevant and needs to just shut the fuck up and go away. Forever.

Oh, man - the 'nip pinch'. A guy could get
fuckin' killed for doing that...

Print ad for Sony from 1969.

Ya see - THAT is great advertising. I see ads on TV and in print nowadays and I wanna just beat the fuck outta the person that created the ad, and also the fuckin' idiot at the client that approved the nonsense. Juss' sayin'.
...

I really did think this shit was a goof.
It's legit? Fuck.

Need someone to hate? Here ya go - A Detroit-area guy who accidentally bought an extra lottery ticket won two $1 million jackpots.

Samir Mazahem, 56, of Dearborn Heights said he was saving numbers on a lottery app after buying a $2 ticket for the June 9 Mega Millions game. He then realized that he had purchased a second ticket with the same numbers. “I was a little bummed but didn’t think much about it,” Mazahem said. Until he recently logged onto the app and found he had two $1 million winners.

  2. When the news started showing oblivious bias and things that were just not true I stopped watching.
When a known lier tell you something you believe them? Do you even bother to ask?

I have never seen a President in person, saw the governor of Hawaii once back in '62.

For up to date flu numbers I go to this site https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/#countries
The deaths are falling off so there is nothing to be gained by showing those numbers.

  3. They show just the contamination numbers, that's all. Death rate is WAY down. It's all bullshit...

Van Jones may be a Commie, but he's become one of the best (and one of the few honest) commentators in the biz.

And, yeah, I remember the guns and all the cowboy stuff. The Good Old Days really were.

Somebody has to ask Uncle Joe how “ensuring a fair and effective justice system” means letting people get away with murder...
