There will be blood...

When all is said and done,
the cuckoo clocks will go home
and cry in their beers...

She got her ass kicked in her own state.
Maybe NOW she'll shut up and go away.

Meanwhile back at the ranch,
The Big D is relentless.

The Yankees should change their name to the NY Walking Wounded.
They're killing me. Again. Jeez.

Both Aaron Judge and Giancarlo Stanton will not be ready for Opening Day. That is reality.

The Yankees have not made it official, but basically that’s what Brian Cashman said earlier Tuesday, noting of Judge, “I don’t see him ready by Opening Day.’’

I love the New York Post.
Not for news, just cause they're crazy.

Did you know this about Air Force One?

The Plane Has a Small Hospital on board

The President's plane is fully fitted with all the things needed to carry out medical practice. If POTUS or any other passenger on Air Force One is injured or falls ill, a doctor is available, there’s an operating room and all other high quality medical tools and a pharmacy. More so, there is an extra reserve of blood in the refrigerator that matches the President’s blood type.

I thought they were just a Florida thing...
...

It's such a simple idea - why did it die off?

I never heard this before. Back in the day, the banks of the river Seine (in France knucklehead) were lined with giant floating swimming pools. In the 19th century, one could take swimming lessons next to the Pont Neuf and in the 1970s, sunbathe topless on the upper deck of the Piscine Deligny, which was moored in the 7th arrondissement right in front of the National Assembly.

Florida fact # 732

Did you know that Florida is the second largest cattle producing state in the country?
Yup. Second only to Texas.

Some people may see a beautiful cypress scenery with some pretty horses in this picture. I see ten great cattlemen that are multigenerational stewards of the land. Men that have given all their effort to conserve water, wildlife and the ranching heritage in this great state of Florida.

These men ranch from the pristine pine woods of the panhandle to the beautiful grass flats of the east coast and to the vast cypress swamps of the southern part of our state. Our state is filled with these men & women who preserve Florida everyday.

From the 'I didn't know that shit' files, Item # 378:

The earliest known photograph of the White House was taken in 1846 during James K. Polk’s presidency.

The photograph depicts the south side of the White House looking north and west. Due to the mirror image created by the daguerreotype photograph, the cast of shadows in the photograph indicates that it was taken in the early light of the morning. The photograph was likely taken in the winter or early spring based on the small patch of snow in the foreground and additional snow piles at the base of the South Portico stairs.

The photograph is a half-plate daguerreotype, measuring four-and-a-half by five-and-a-half inches and attributed to John Plumbe, Jr. Invented in 1839, the daguerreotype was the first commercially successful photographic process. These images were typically produced on silvered copper plates where the image was directly exposed onto the plates, creating a one-of-a-kind image.

At the time, daguerreotypes could only be reproduced as engravings or drawings. This process is unlike modern film photography where the images are transferred from transparent negatives to paper that can be reproduced many times. As photography became more popular, more photographs of the White House were taken throughout the course of the nineteenth century. Today, the White House typically has several photographers on staff to capture important moments in White House history.
