I live in a 55+ community in AZ, and people do the same thing with their dogs; in addition to taking the animals everywhere with them (grocery stores are finally cracking down on this). The also take them for "walks" as the owner rides in a golf cart with the dog walking along side.
ReplyDeleteThe Karens also bring their dogs into restaurants and have them eating off the tables. The waiters are afraid of the Karens making a scene and try to let it slide. If anyone honestly needs a service animal, and they are denied entry, blame Karen.

ReplyDeleteI'm in a suburb of Denver, and I've seen a couple of people who walk with their dogs in strollers, and one who carts their dog around in a child trailer behind their bicycle. The ones I've spoken to are all getting their own exercise while letting their very old dogs get some outside time. I don't have a stroller, and I'm perfectly content to let my very old cat have a nap on the couch while I take my walks.
