Well, thanks Pollyanna, but the truth is - getting older may suck, but it beats the fuck out of the alternative. 

It does kinda suck, though, when you realize how quickly the times of your life have slipped by. Just yesterday I was mentioning about meeting Kenny Rankin in a bar, but after posting it I realized that it was a full 48 years ago that it happened. Thank god for memories, huh?

Right-wing pundits ripped New Jersey Senator Cory Booker for making a gesture that they likened Nazi salute at the conclusion of a speech Saturday night — and compared it to the move Elon Musk made that was ripped by liberals.

The Garden State Democrat made the gesture at a Democratic convention in California — placing his hand over his heart and then gesturing to the crowd with a straight arm and an open hand above shoulder height.

Internet influencers were quick to jump on Booker’s salute, and wonder where the outrage is when there was so much criticism by Booker’s fellow Democrats and others on the left of Musk.

A single Hyperscale Data Center in San Antonio, Texas, will have 1.5 million square feet of data center space, the Associated Press reports. One data center sucks up enough electricity to power 400,000 electric cars, according to the International Energy Agency. It needs that much power for it's thousands of servers and air conditioning to cool the machines...

Here in Florida we like to know that our voters are who they say they are. Meanwhile, back in August 2024, California Gov. Gavin Newsom signed State Senate Bill 1174, which bars local election officials from requiring photo identification for elections. Why would he do that I wonder?

Well, just the other day, California Secretary of State Shirley Weber and Attorney General Rob Bonta filed an appeal in the California 4th District Court of Appeals after an Orange County Superior Court backed Huntington Beach’s authority to require voter ID.
