Alan Dershowitz, Harvard law professor emeritus, told Newsmax on Thursday the university will lose its legal challenges against President Donald Trump's efforts to restrict foreign visas at Harvard.
"Harvard will lose," Dershowitz said on "Newsline." "They're getting very bad advice from some of the Harvard Law School faculty who are on the left, who wish that the Trump administration would lose, but the Trump administration will win the ultimate battle." Dershowitz said the government can determine who comes into the country and who doesn't.
Dershowitz - probably the best known and respected of any former Ivy Leaguer - is a celebrated lawyer and law professor, known for his work in U.S. constitutional law and criminal law. He is a Harvard Law School professor emeritus, having retired from full-time teaching in 2013 after 50 years. He is also a prominent legal commentator and author, having written numerous books and articles on legal and political topics.
He is known as a moderate conservative, appearing often on Fox News, and because of that, he said that he hasn't been invited back to the school since he retired. Tells you all you need to know about Harvard.
Less than .70cents each, and they're great...
