How long you gonna live, Buddy? Better get moving...

Johns Hopkins University has multiple studies and projects related to aging and movement, including the Human Aging Project, research on wearable activity trackers, and the Community Aging in Place project.
A federally funded study found that wearable accelerometers are a more reliable way to measure physical activity than surveys. The study found that physical activity is a better predictor of mortality risk than traditional factors like age, smoking, and diabetes
The study also suggests that physicians could use wearable devices to help patients increase physical activity and change unhealthy behaviors.
Sounds a little too 'Big Brother is watching' to me. Juss' sayin'...
