Finally, are we to understand that the bunny lays the eggs and then gives them away for some reason?

EliminarEaster and Eggs? The connection between eggs (and rabbits) and Jesus's death is tenuous. However, when you realise that Easter is around 9 months ahead of Christmas (J's birth) it becomes a bit cleared. Rabbits are famous for ... multiplication. Eggs. Pagan fertility festivals. Oestrus. Yup, Easter is just a rebadged festival of f***ing.
