Steak n Shake was always my favorite but the quality has dropped off in the last ten years. 5 Guys is next best. BK has to be third. Beats MD's for sure !
Five Guys, that was an easy choice. The second choice is Chick-fil-a but I need to run them for 4 minutes in the Air-fryer to crisp them out. The truth of it, all of the fries are better after 4 minutes in the Air-fryer.
Those were basically deep fried French fry-shaped mashed potatoes. Pellets fell into a cylinder that filled with super hot water. After they absorbed all the water, they were pressed through a "crinkle" die and sliced off. Then they were deep fried. Yes, I worked there. Yes, they were excellent, as were their fried zucchini slices.

ResponderEliminarFive Guys fresh cut fries.....yum!
ResponderEliminarI like Culver's but 5 guys are good if you can get them to make the fries well-done. Most won't do that anymore...

EliminarNo Freddie's? incomplete list!
ResponderEliminarIn and Out are good but they place the potato in the cutter sideways instead of lengthwise so the fries are always short pieces.
